How to secure Warranty benefits?

To obtain the benefits of this Warranty, complete the Warranty Registration process within the first fourteen days of your purchase. To register, you must send a copy of your invoice, warranty card, and an image of the mattress through an email to us at [email protected] Alternatively, you may call our customer care at +91-7760887979.

Who is covered under this Warranty?

This warranty ensures benefits only to the original purchaser (“the purchaser”) of the product, and it is not transferable. Your purchase is covered under this Warranty only if you have bought our mattress through an authorized Sleepypanda distribution channel.

What is the duration of this Warranty?

The Warranty comes in effect from the date of your purchase for a duration of 10 years.

What does the Warranty cover?

This is a limited warranty and covers a product up to the value of its purchase price listed in the invoice. During the first years, we will repair (or replace) a mattress without any charges to the original purchaser in case there is any manufacturing fault. After one years of the purchase, we will repair (or replace at our discretion) the mattress or foundation that has a manufacturing fault, and the purchaser will have to pay for the usage-related charges. Manufacturing faults under conditions of normal wear and use are only covered under this Warranty.

If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, the company reserves the right to substitute with materials of equal quality. Identical fabrics cannot be guaranteed; however, the closest available match will always be attempted. In case a customer opts for a refund, the refund amount will be calculated based on a pro-rata basis.

What is a manufacturing fault?

We consider a visible indentation or sag greater than one inch in the foam material or any physical flaw in the foam material that causes it to split or crack under conditions of normal use and proper handling as a manufacturing fault.

Note: It takes a maximum of 72 hours for a roll-packed mattress to come back to its specified dimensions, if it fails to reach the exact dimensions, we consider it as a manufacturing fault. However, you may expect a variation of ± 15 mm in length, width, and thickness and that will not be considered as a manufacturing fault.

What is not covered?

Mattresses that are not used for intended purposes, i.e., sleeping or reclining, are not covered under this Warranty. If a mattress is used or stored in unhygienic conditions, or used on an improper bed frame, or bought from resellers who are authorized sellers, then our Warranty benefits are not applicable. This Warranty does not cover minor imperfections and modest cosmetic flaws, zipper cover (including stains, soiling, or burns), normal body indentations less than 20% of the mattress height, border wires that are bent due to moving or folding the sleeping set. Damages caused due to abuse, fire, or infestation of any kind make a mattress ineligible for this Warranty benefit. Individual comfort preference in firmness, texture, etc., or individual or personalized allergies and sensitivities, or any aromas in a mattress are not covered under this Warranty. If you have bought a set, then our repair or replace policy will cover only those piece(s) that are defective. Also, Sleepypanda reserves the right to repair or replace a mattress based on its sole discretion after complete evaluation of a customer’s request.

What is a 100-Night Trial?

To offer the most-friendliest and easiest policy of a 100-Night Trial at your home, Sleepypanda lets you use a mattress for 100 nights. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your mattress, you can return it to us for a prompt and full refund of the purchase price. We would like to add here that customized mattresses that are non-returnable are not covered under this offer.

Sleepypanda offers only one 100-Night in-home trial per mattress, and an exchanged mattress will not qualify for an additional 100-Night trial. Also, the original period of a limited warranty remains unchanged irrespective of any replacement or repair. Sleepypanda never restocks mattresses, and it is highly recommended that you double-check measurements before placing your order with us to ensure that the mattress you choose matches your requirements.

What is a pro-rata calculation?

We calculate the amount a customer is eligible to receive in case s/he opts for a refund, using the price at which a mattress was bought, the number of years of warranty, and the number of years of warranty remaining, with the help of the following formula.

Amount refunded = Mattress Amount/Number of years of warranty * Number of years of warranty remaining.

Illustration: If a mattress costs you INR 12,000 and you claim a refund after three years of usage, your refund amount will be INR 8,400.

How to make a claim?

 To register a claim with us, you may either contact our customer care with the Warranty registration number or share a copy of the invoice, image of the mattress, and the warranty card through an email with us at [email protected] Our concerned team will investigate and proceed with a request in accordance with our repair or replace policy.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute related to the purchase of a product, which is not resolved through a communication between Sleepypanda and the purchaser through established modes of communication, will be subject to courts of Bangalore jurisdiction only.

Do’s

  • Always carry your mattress on its side.
  • Dispose of plastic bags immediately.
  • Keep your mattress clean.
  • Keep your mattress dry.
  • Replace old foundation when buying a new mattress.

Don’ts

  • Fold the mattress.
  • Remove the tag located at the end of your mattress.
  • Allow anyone to jump on your mattress.
  • Expose it to flames or fire.
  • Smoke in bed.
  • Use an iron box on the mattress.
  • Dry clean.

What is the return policy?

All return-related claims should be raised through an email to [email protected]  or a call to our customer care at +91-7760887979. We reserve the right to ask for photos, more information, or descriptions, or to physically inspect a mattress before processing any claim. The requests will only be processed if the products are in a condition where we can donate them. While normal wear and use are acceptable, we reserve the right to accept or deny a request at our sole discretion.

All unopened mattresses are eligible for return and refund after delivery within the first 15 days of your purchase. For an opened mattress, a return request can be raised only after 30 days and not later tha0n 100 days from the date of your purchase. We consider any mattresses that are not opened for 30 days after the date of delivery as misused, and these are not ineligible for warranty-related claims and benefits.

Any mattress that is not used for its intended purpose, i.e., sleeping or reclining are not covered under this policy. Also, products that are shipped outside India are not eligible for return.
